Ter as tecnologias como nossa aliada na sala de aula é muito importante, pois nos oportunizam na busca de bons resultados e na construção de conhecimentos.
Aplicar as tecnologias na sala de aula, além de ser uma prática pedagógica, tornou- se uma necessidade premente, tendo em vista a inclusão destas tecnologias desde a educação infantil. A construção de aulas multimídia desperta nos educandos o interesse pelos conteúdos, especialmente para aqueles desmotivados, que já estão cansados do tradicionalismo da sala de aula; um ambiente informático, torna- se um incentivo para eles.
A sociedade do conhecimento exige um homem crítico, criativo, com capacidade de pensar, de aprender a aprender, trabalhar em grupo e de conhecer o seu potencial intelectual. Esse homem deverá ter uma visão geral sobre os diferentes problemas que afligem a humanidade, como os sociais e ecológicos, além de profundo conhecimento sobre domínios específicos. Em outras palavras, um homem atento e sensível às mudanças da sociedade, com uma visão transdisciplinar e com capacidade de constante aprimoramento e depuração de idéias e ações.
